  <p align=center style='text-align:center'><b><i><span style='font-size:14.0pt;
color:green'>Dreams Do Come True … If You Go After Them!</span></i></b></p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>Jennifer Hudson had a dream and she
helped make her dream came true -big time!  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>Recently Jennifer won a Golden Globe
Award for Best Supporting Actress in her role as Effie White in the movie,
“Dreamgirls.”  If you haven’t seen the
movie, see it because it’s good, real good, and her performance is great.  But what I think is an even more powerful is
the long and arduous journey that led to her role in “Dreamgirls.”</p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>Jennifer wanted to be a singer and
performer ever since she was seven and started singing in the church choir on
the south side of Chicago.  During elementary and high school she
practiced her skills performing at talent shows, clubs, weddings and benefits
in Chicago and surrounding areas.  She
had a dream and knew she had to work to get it.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>In the fall of 2002 she auditioned for
and won a role as a performer on one of the Disney Cruise ships and was
thrilled when she said: “singing for thousands of people and being paid for
doing it.  It’s amazing.”  Taking a leap of faith she didn’t renew her
contract with Disney and instead flew to Atlanta
and auditioned for the <i>American Idol</i> show in August of 2003.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>There were over 70,000 hopefuls but
Jennifer made it into the top 12.  She
wowed the judges and viewers alike with fabulous performance of classic songs
by music greats like Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston.  Although Jennifer didn’t win the idol crown
she left an indelible mark on viewers and the music industry.  She says about her experience: “I have
learned a lot.  It’s just a blessing from
God to be able to use my talent to make a living and to be on <i>American Idol</i> and be on stage.”</p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>She wasn’t done though.  In 2006 Jennifer auditioned for and won the
role of Effie White in “Dreamgirls” and the rest, as they say, is history. </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>During her acceptance speech at the
Golden Globe Award ceremony Jennifer said: “I have always dreamed, but never
this big.  This goes far beyond anything
    I imagined.”</p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>So what’s the message from her incredible
story and what does it have to do with any of us?  <b><i><span style='color:green'>Dreams Do Come
True … If You Go After Them!</span></i></b></p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>I have found that to make your dreams
come true you need to do two things: </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>1. <b><i>Expect The Best!  </i></b>(Heard that before?!)</p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>2. Take responsibility for getting it!</p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>The bible says: “<i>Faith without action is worthless.”  </i>The same thing is true in going after your dreams.  You can’t just dream big and then sit down by
the side of the road and wait for success, Mr. Right, a new job, or anything
else for that matter, to come rolling in. <span class=GramE>That’s foolhardy
and guess what</span> - the world doesn’t work that way.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>You’ve probably heard the saying; <i>“If it is to be, it is up to me.”  </i>It’s so true!  If you want<i> </i>to make your dreams a reality you must take action and be willing
to stick your neck out and go after them.  If you want to win the lottery you have to buy a ticket!  <i></i></p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>People who are energized and committed
put in the blood, sweat and tears to do whatever it takes to reach their
dreams.  When they get knocked down they
get back up and get going again because they know they are that much closer to
achieving their dream.  They know that
failure is never final unless you quit and they don’t quit.</p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'><i>“What
is your greatest dream and what <span class=GramE>are</span> you doing to
    achieve it?”</i>  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>If you don’t dream big and aren’t willing
to take massive action to get it, then don’t you dare complain to anyone,
including yourself, because you are choosing to accept a life far less than you
    are deserving of.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>But here’s the incredible added bonus to
dreaming big and taking action to get it.  There is a powerful force that kicks in as you go after your dream.  As was the case with Jennifer, people often
achieve far more than what they thought possible.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>This amazing phenomenon has happened to
me more times that I can count and keeps me going when my progress seems to be
bogging down and I am disappointed or discouraged.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>When I stay focused on my dreams and do
whatever it takes to reach them, I end up finding countless other blessings as
a result.  But to achieve my dreams I
must take action and go after them!   You
must do the same thing.  </p>
  <p class=MsoBodyText2 style='
line-height:normal'>So do something, anything, today, to
bring yourself closer to making your dreams a reality because … <b><i><span
style='color:green'>Dreams Do Come <span class=GramE>True</span></span></i><span
style='color:green'> …<i>If You Go After
    Them! </i></span></b></p>
  <p class=MsoBodyTextIndent align=center style='text-align:center;line-height:normal'><i>“To find success;</i></p>
  <p class=MsoBodyTextIndent align=center style='text-align:center;line-height:normal'><span class=GramE><i>go</i></span><i> where others won’t go,</i></p>
  <p class=MsoBodyTextIndent align=center style='text-align:center;line-height:normal'><span class=GramE><i>do</i></span><i> what others won’t do,</i></p>

style='font-size:14.0pt;color:black'>This Month’s Action Step</span></b></p>
<p>Ask yourself this question, <i>“What is my biggest dream and what is one
action step I will take today to get me much closer to my goal?”</i>  </p>
<p>Think about it, if you do one thing
every day at the end of a month you have taken different thirty different
action steps towards the fulfillment of your dream.  Now do that for two months and think about
the momentum and confidence you are gaining.  Procrastination is the enemy of action so take action today and you will
start to break through procrastination and get yourself closer to your dreams. </p>

<p>In each newsletter I recommend a book that I think is worth
    your time and money.   </p>
  <p><b><i>It’s Called Work <span class=GramE>For A</span> Reason </i></b>by Larry
Winget is this month’s recommended read.  Larry is a colleague of mine and he and his manager, Vic Osteen, have
coached and counseled me in my speaking business.  I need to warn you though, his book is an in
your face, no holds barred approach to being successful in the workplace.  It is definitely not a bunch of feel good
parables or touchy feely platitudes to pump you up.</p>
<p>The book jacket gives a good synopsis of what’s inside: “Are
you frustrated with a lack of results at work?  Have you hit a wall?  Are you
uninspired, stuck in a rut, feeling underappreciated?  Well, good news: Your success is not up to
your boss, your manager, your employees or the economy.  It’s up to YOU.  Business is never <span class=GramE>bad,</span> people are just bad at being in business.  If that makes you mad then this book is for you.”</p>
  <p><b><i>It’s Called Work <span class=GramE>For A</span> Reason </i></b>is a
thought provoking book that shows you how to quit whining and take
responsibility for your success in your career and your life. I liked it and I
    hope you enjoy it too.</p>
  <p align=center style='text-align:center'><i>“Don’t go around saying the world owes you a living;</i></p>
